One of my first collaborations with a producer, I’m so excited for this song! It’s hopeful and upbeat, probably the most pop sounding song I’ve yet to release.
One of the most special cowrites I’ve been a part of, I’m so grateful to have been able to produce this song and am so happy by it’s success in reaching many other people.
This beautiful song was produced by Brian Skeel, written by myself and Lace & Grit. I am so excited for this song, as it is Lace & Grit’s first ever release, and I am honored to be a part of it!
Stay Warm (Katie Dwyer, Sunflower Summit, Jessie Max) (December 2020)
Cozy, emotional, and filled with love, this collaborative EP by Sunflower Summit, Katie Dwyer, and Jessie Max express a different kind of holiday cheer to send off 2020. A mix of originals and Christmas favorites, you will want to grab a mug of hot cocoa and snuggle with your favorite book.
Time Passes Anyway (November 2020)
“Time Passes Anyway’ is a short, sweet, and simple song that is reflective on the choice we have in every moment of every day. We have a lot more power than we think when we remember that we get to choose how to respond to situations, how to comprehend and act on our emotions. We should choose wisely and just go for it, because the Time Passes Anyway.
Monster (Feat. Jessie Max, Katie Dwyer) (October 2020)
What a spooktacular track! I run a little songwriting group where we give each other songwriting challenges and keep the practice of songwriting alive, and one of the challenges I gave one week was to write something named “Monster”, with halloween around the corner and a plethora of artists releasing songs named as such. I wound up having a lot of fun writing this, and my friends Katie and Jessie and I decided we should release this. We coproduced the track and had it ready for release about a week later, viola – a monster was born!
The Anthem Project – Season 1 (November 2020)
Over the summer of 2020, I discovered a passion of writing custom songs that celebrate super cool people. This was a cool way for me to grow as a songwriter, to put myself in another persons shoes and write a song that they would write for themselves, if they were songwriters. Each song on this album has a very unique story that is inspired by a remarkable woman, and I love them all so much.

New Year (Sunflower Summit, E.L.Dan) (February 2021)
A blend of spoken word poetry and music, Sunflower Summit and E.L.Dan combined the best of both worlds to create some magic. New Year focuses on the transition form old to new, and digs into the anxieties of anticipating variable unknowns. Thick with questions and pondering, New Year end on an optimistic note, learning to cope with the stress and focus on living in the moment.
Reflecting on The New Year
Lighthouse (October 2020)
An uplifting little tune, Lighthouse was commissioned for the podcast “Bell The Cat”. Both the podcast and the song are focused on learning to see the magic you have inside you and harnessing your creativity to create something amazing. Lighthouse is also the first self-produced single Sunflower Summit released, beginning a trend of self-produced music thereafter.
Love Notes (December 2019)
This album will always hold a special place in my heart. A very raw, open and honest collection of music, creating this album was very transformative for me. It was the first time I called myself an artist, and did something about it. I started a couch tour, played so many gigs to promote the album, saved up money to go to a studio and record, even set up a kickstarter to help with costs and bring the listeners along on the journey. I didn’t know what production was, nor did I know what was next. Most of the time I just acted instinctually. I have learned and grown so much since this album, as expected, however I never knew just how much I would grow and learn in such a small period of time. I’m excited to be working on In This Moment and get to put into action everything that has come since the release of Love Notes.
Featuring a couple familiar tunes, this EP expands on my winter feels as 2020 came to a close. Once again challenging my production skills and songwriting, this is self produced, and I’m very proud of that. This is available free for my patrons, or on Bandcamp only.
